March 23, 2012

On March 23, 2012, at 1:30 a.m., a CUA student was approached in the parking lot of the Brookland Ridge Apartments. The suspect grabbed the victim and assaulted her. No weapons were displayed. The suspect fled the scene after the victim’s dog began to attack him. MPD was notified and responded.

Suspect: Black Male, 30-33 years old, 5'8" - 5'9", 170 - 90 lbs., brown eyes, black dread locks, dark complexion, medium or average build.

  • Notice people walking behind you or approaching you.
  • Don’t become a target. Walk confidently and at a steady pace, stay with a group, don’t stop to talk to strangers.
  • Avoid alleys, short cuts and vacant lots. Stick to well lit, busy streets.
