Between January 23rd and February 8th, 2013, five (5) Apple MacBook Pros computers have been stolen from students residing in Opus Hall.  The burglaries have occurred during the day and afternoon hours. In each of these burglaries, the suspect(s) have entered unlocked rooms and took the computers.     

Resident students:  Lock the door to your room when you are sleeping or leaving, even if it is only for a few minutes.  Do not leave your books, bags, laptops, bags or any personal property unattended.  

Faculty & Staff:  Lock your office when you are gone.  Keep valuables such as purses, keys, credit cards, etc. locked in your desk.  Do not leave classrooms containing personal property unattended or unlocked during breaks.

Report suspicious activity to the Campus Police.    

Call the Campus Police on x5111 on any campus phone.
